Perspectives in Computational Ecology: Species Distribution Modeling

ECOL 8910 – Spring 2016

Course objectives are:

(1) To obtain an advanced understanding of key concepts in theoretical ecology, and

(2) To develop the programming and analytical skills need to apply these concepts to produce data-driven solutions to practical problems encountered in ecological research.

The Spring 2016 section concerned ecological niche theory and software applications for species distribution modeling. For more information, see the syllabus, schedule, and list of readings.
